Anurag Agarwal brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software, distributed systems, and cybersecurity. As Vice President – Engineering at Accops, he leads product engineering across secure access, endpoint security, and virtualisation platforms. Anurag sets the architectural and strategic direction for core technologies, building on a career that spans global product firms, entrepreneurial ventures, and deep systems-level innovation.
He has held senior roles at Microsoft, PrimaryIO, and Symantec (Veritas), and has founded multiple startups, including KQ Infotech—whose technology was acquired by STEC. His engineering work has resulted in several US patents in storage systems and distributed fault tolerance, covering innovations such as multi-node locking, transactional resilience, and efficient page logging.
Anurag holds an M.E. in Computer Science from IISc Bangalore and a B.E. from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur. He also leads Aksharbharati, an NGO initiative promoting access to literature for children from underserved communities. His leadership reflects a rare combination of hands-on technical depth, product foresight, and a commitment to impact-driven technology.
