Orientcraft Enables Chromebooks in Organization

Established over 40 years ago, Orient Craft is today India’s #1 garment design house, backed by a large world class manufacturing infrastructure. With state-of-art production facilities across 21 units and a combined capacity to produce nearly 2,00,000 pieces per day, OC aims to deliver high quality in wide variety of products to suit its customers needs. Currently the annual turnover of OC is 250 million USD (first cost, resulting in over a billion dollars of retail products and growing).

OC wanted to cut down cost of laptops for their sales team. The users needed access to limited applications. OC has already adopted virtual computing by delivering their business applications using Propalms TSE. OC wanted to keep their users mobile but keep the cost low. OC found Chromebooks to be cost effective and mobile. But to make the virtual applications work, OC had to install the Propalms TSE client. A better option was to use Accops HyLite module as it does not require any client installation and required only the browser. Through HyLite the OC users can now seamlessly and secure access their business applications on Chromebook.
